I joined RMgX in 2018 as a UX Designer, back when we still worked out of a physical office. Over the years, I grew into a Senior UX role and eventually led the design team. It’s been an enriching journey.

What stands out most when I look back is the culture - the trust placed in you to own your work, express your value, and be recognised not just for outcomes, but for the way you work. Working with teammates spread across the country gave me a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives, far beyond what any search engine could offer.

I also valued the opportunity to directly present and discuss my work with external stakeholders, which helped sharpen both my thinking and confidence. The work itself was deeply fulfilling. Knowing that our designs made life easier for actual humans gave real meaning to what we built. Annual off-sites, productathons, and shared wins remain some of my fondest memories.

More than anything,
I’m grateful for the support I received on a personal level, especially the thoughtful and flexible way RMgX eased me back into work after maternity leave. That trust made all the difference.
